Bridging Home and school with Home Health Care - an experiential two-part workshop for parents and carers of early childhood and school-age children

Children can be enriched by how the adults in their life hold and support them through their stages of development. This two -part workshop will focus on harmonising experiences to guide and support adults and children alike.

Participants will receive a lemon footbath on Thursday evening, and on Friday will be guided through further wellness supports to create healthy transitions through the day and into sleep.

Developing The Self contributor Lyn Clifton brings her background as a Community Health Social Worker and Anthroposophic Health Care Practitioner working in the light of Rudolf Steiner's indications for nursing and home care. Lyn offers mantles of care such as foot baths, oil clothes, compresses, inhalations, rhythmical body oiling and wellness supports to assist parents, carers, teachers and children towards harmony in their daily life. She works alongside Developing the Self Developing the World therapists to explore the care and development of the senses through experiential and practical home care.

Part two of the workshop will be on Friday, April 5th 9:15-11:30am
